Itoje's ability to snake out an arm and catch a guy who looks like he's beaten him is always amazing.

Good job we're not playing against a decent side really.

I’ve been far from their biggest fans but Tom Curry and Billy are both having one of their best games to date.

Honestly, this is appalling. The kicking is second rate and while our midfield defence is very good, our scramble is meh. And the lack of inspiration in attack is appalling. We have Slade, Joseph, Watson, May, Lawrence, Thorley...
And none of them see the ball unless it's kicked down their throat.

And we can lay quite a lot of the blame at the feet of one individual in particular. I'm looking forward to the MBM to see if I'm right.

You've got to feel sorry for Thorley and Lawrence. Normally coming on for the last 15 against Italy is a good chance to romp around against knackered defences as we pile on the late points. Not to get the ball stationary against a defensive line which just hasn't been worked enough.

Today's 2 matches are comfortably the worst 2 I've watched since lockdown!

About right, I'd probably go for a 7 for Curry, an 8 for Youngs and 4s for May and Slade.
And I'd mark Itoje down to 6/7 for the pens he gave up

As mentioned I personally thought Curry and Billy had good games but there’s a strengthening case for introducing Willis, Hill and Dombrandt sooner rather than later (not altogether necessarily though)
Only two lineout jumpers starting and then having to shove Curry into second row bordered on the farsical imo

How TF do you mark the backs outside Farrell?
The lack of ambition has been extraordinary, even for Eddie.

You telling me you weren’t impressed with the reinvention of Slade as a crash ball 12?
