Some of that may come from a lack of strong competition. He’s kind of been first choice by default rather than because he’s genuinely deserved it.
I was pleased to see Stuart have a good tour (in spite of the clueless media ratings), but unless he kicks on from that, he’s just shown he’s capable of being a decent starter without really turning the heat up on Sinckler. If the two of them were really fighting hard for the shirt, it might spur them on to a higher level of performance. Hopefully Stuart sees this as opportunity to keep the shirt and Sinckler sees it as his to get back.
Frankly, I'd be picking Stuart as the starting 3 for England unless Sinckler shows form that makes him undroppable. If that makes him angry and we get 2018!Sinckler back again, great. If he can't bring it back, he's a more dynamic option off the bench.

Agreed I think Stuart is better all round and Sink for impact. I'm not worried if he doesn't pull his finger out though we have solid options. I did think the same for Genge but he's starting well and his scrummaging is better though perhaps borderline illegal

Debatable, but not much in at ATM. Peak Sinckler was a top player, but that was a while ago and there’s no guarantee he’ll get back to that. Stuart is developing in to a very decent tighthead - hopefully he has another gear and his peak is still to come?

show me a prop that doesn't try and bend the laws and it'll be an unsuccessful prop that hasn't played internationally. You do Whatever you can to stay in the fight when you are under pressure or need a penalty.
I agree with Stuart deserving a chance to start some more games in the 3 shirt. The only time he seemed to struggle is when Eddie left him on past the hour mark and he was up against a Fresh Aussie. Most international props don't play that long. Once Eddie started turning to Heyes earlier than the 70 something minute Stuart had no issues. One of those to push his reputation down I Australia after a good showing towards the end of the 6N. Stuart went in to the tour under a bit of pressure from Heyes as well, good to see him react by putting a marker down. Sinckler being benched should hopefully give him a bit of a rocket as well.
