Good analysis from Austin. Saints winger comes in for the big hit and doesn't make it, Porter gets the ball away to Nadolo. Doubles up the error by not completing the tackle so Porter can then come round to support Nadolo.

Clear knock on by Tigers
Clear push in the back of Chessum.
The pass isn't forward, Porter gets bumped back as he releases it.

Good ol’ Dallaglio:
“He (Cole) is winning the game at the moment… they (Leicester) are behind on the scoreboard…”

Furbank and Ludlum with fantastic combined tackle to hold JVP up. Tigers attack starting to really purr.

I always remember him commentating on a game years ago where it was 3 - 3 and he commented that 'the score line doesn't reflect just how close this game is'. Amazing input

How's that not a high tackle? Biggar has his arm round Nadolo's neck?

That looks nasty for Waller, hopefully he's ok. Looked like his own man came jumping through and caught him.
Saints finally get the warning.

Wells pushed Coles from behind and Coles knees him on the head.

TMO must be reading the thread! Albeit, it’s Chessum.

They can't give that as foul play. It's a push on the Saints player who's stood in the way of the Tigers players coming to the breakdown. There's nothing in that.

Plenty of sympathy with Chessum but the Saints player is trying to get back to breakdown - is he supposed to take a circuitous route - and, as with a high tackle and contact in the air, surely it’s about outcome and not intention.
Not that I actually think Chessum should be penalised but, for me, the thought process/logic to get to the decision is all wrong.

Brave intercept!
So glad I wasn't marking Nadolo during that series of scrums.

How was that last scrum not a penalty for Tigers. Dickson was very generous there.
Does lose his patience with a sloppy breakdown penalty from Augustus.

You must enter the tackle area from your own side. He's running back to his line via the tackle area to slow down the Tigers clear out. It's a cute move but doesn't work this time.

Because it was six of one and half dozen of another. Heyes went in a bit long legged and Ioygen backed off to ease him to ground. That's the way I saw it anyway.
