All I'd say as a neutral is that Wiese looks to have an evil streak in the way he plays. If an impartial citing committee were to view the footage and conclude that he was blatantly trying to cause serious injury it would not surprise me. However, from the replays that I saw I could not say that was so - even if I suspect it was from Waller's reaction. Wiese probably got away with one.

Not had a card since 26/12/21, he was suspended at that point as it was his third in a season. Since then no cards and no suspensions. Very physical guy and abrasive bloke but has actually worked quite hard on correcting his tackling and rucking technique to keep him on the right side of the law.

Ha, that would be the East Midlands Derby for you. Apparently even the radio commentary teams were butting heads, I've not heard it personally but the Radio Leicester presenter voiced his annoyance on air at the disrespectful nature of the Northampton colleagues. I wonder what was said off air :lol: .
