When the bokke get a sniff they are lethal. But their indiscipline is keeping us in it at the moment

Early front row replacement I hope. We will end up a prop down due to a yellow otherwise and that last one gave them a huge territorial advantage.

That’s an appalling decision. The bokke winger had overrun the ball and was never catching that.

No clear try there

Agreed. The TMO did her best to wangle that penalty try and yellow. The Bok knocked it on, should have been scrum 5 Wales

She really did. Even if the bokke winger didn’t knock it on, he equally wasn’t going to score a try. And Dyers intervention was after the bokke player overrun the ball.

That’s a shocker

Yellow and penalty try is far too harsh for that. Is it one of those situations where if you commit a penalty in the end zone it's automatically a yellow/penalty try?
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I was under the impression that a penalty worthy act has to prevent the scoring of a try for it to be a penalty try. The bokke winger was never scoring that. TMO got it badly wrong

Clear as day that that came off the South African. Dyer would've been lucky to escape scot-free, cause that was an incredibly stupid thing to do, but he should've been that lucky.

Oddly that doesn't feel like it went too badly. No-one's injured yet.

Coping with bullshit YCs is an important skill to learn, these guys might as well learn it now.

I think I could cope with these calls without the TMO. Live, I thought Dyer was toast.

Then they watch 157 replays which clearly show that it was a green knock-on with 0% chance of scoring anyway; and they still give the PT/YC. Seriously, other than winding everyone up, what is the point? Just give what you want to give, and get on with it.

The western mail's reporting the wru are already talking to Farrell's lawyer about getting the penalty try disallowed.

Jonny Williams making a strong case for he 12 shirt (don’t think it’s just the hair).

Lineout vastly improved and second rows are making themselves busy. Backrow busy.

Need to sort out the scrum and try to keep the ball for a bit and test the bokke defence

I'm not sure it was a knock-on but the Bok was not going to score. Not a penalty try.

Big error from Grady for that try.

Poor defence from Johnny Williams for the first try (although it would probably have come anyway).

Our scrum is as bad as I feared.

But the lineout is working! :D
