I just clicked on a SCW article in the Daily Mail. If that’s not a lesson to not just click on random links then I don’t know what is.

Oh look there’s a team out without an unbelievably slow back 3 and 2 clog-handed centres. Hooray!

At least we get a look at Mitchell and Willis.

Hope the calf injury isn't too bad for Watson...

I'm not a fan of Earl but I hope he plays a blinder (assuming SB is going to retain Billy V in the 33). IMO, that is the best back row available if Curry is still unfit.

SB has till the 28th to adjust his 33, I believe.

Mail suggesting Daly out of the RWC squad with injury. Watson could potentially follow. May and Cokanasiga to be added.

"Fiji have proven themselves to be a strong opposition and we look forward to what we expect to be an exciting and challenging game. Rest assured that we will be looking to convert the opportunities we have recently been creating week-on-week into points on the scoreboard."

Half the squad appear to be to a greater or lesser extent, most from before they were selected, so there is a decent chance he is.

Hitting the line? What's that?

Surely you mean "receiving the ball and punting it back straight to the opposition back 3".

That's the job of the 15, no? That or to pass it to your 10 to do the same.

Scrap that. Daly should be okay. Watson, not so much.

Assume Arundell pinged his back trying to advance his part time powerlifting career.

Just reading through this and I have to say that this doesn't look like a particularly legal tackle from BillyV early on:

Puja
Billy, Jamie and Maro all in with a chance of a yellow in that scenario. Far too close to head on head by all three.
It's a horrorshow of a defensive line too, Porter (Ryan, not Porter, my bad) has inadvertently taken **4!** of ours out with Lawes hovering in shot as well.

Re the team, nice for Jack Walker to get another 45 seconds on the turf this week.

Why would you prefer Lawes to Ludlam as a starting 6?

He's a better player in all aspects, frankly. Additional to standard backrow skills, he has two other assets: lineout prowess and presence (i.e. a feared opponent). Having said that, I don't think he is at the absolute top of his game and I'd pick a fit Curry ahead of him. I think Ludlam is useful but he's not one of the best four back rowers, IMO.
