ITV creaming themselves over Ramos kicking at 85% this year. Last I remember that was decent not exceptional.

Look a bit unsure of themselves - confusion over the lineout there emblematic. Occasion maybe getting the better if them a little.
It's understandable. They've never been under this much pressure before. I think the only other side to've ever been under this much was NZ in the final in 2011.
Puja
All fair points. If fr go in up at half time I think (hope) they'll screw the nut in the change rooms and come out more coherent for the 2nd half
Galthie does not look impressed in the changing room footage. Suspect a few rockets have been launched.

France just seemed to stop and wait for the forward pass to be called there. Incredible to stop playing.
Seeing the replay, it could have been called, but it was hardly clear and obvious.

We need a bit of “this is not soccer” on these attempted penalty milks.

The French TV directors aren't doing their side any favours with the replays. Usually you'd expect to see 50 replays of the "flat" pass for the try and the same again for that knock-on interception by Telea, but there's barely been anything for the crowd to seize upon and give the TMO pause.

TV coverage is shit, not getting any replays of the contentious calls

It was...
As was Savea (?) Supermaning over the ruck just before Pepper gave the ABs a penalty (to go 8 points).

Does the ref's call of use it ever mean anything? Is it just a tradition or an old charter or something?
Good try though.

Commenters curse but Ntmack just exudes calm and always has time. Jalibert is doing ok but it's all a bit more frantic.
Aldritt has been immense so far tonight. Motm if it ended now.

I get that reference!
Technically speaking, it's a scrum to the opposition if it's not used within 5 seconds, but time is variable.

Aldritt is immense, I think he's their most important player tbh.
Dupont has been off form tonight, his skill level is always incredible but he hasn't been showing the intelligence or reactions or vision that we've, well I've, come to expect

NZ clueless. France don't look any great shakes either. The winner is looking like it may come from pool b.

NZ fell away for some reason and France took advantage, well played. Hope that momentum lasts and lasts and lasts, I really hope France win this whole thing.

France 30 - 10 New Zealand

Man, that's more than the boldest french supporter
Ended up pretty close to being right! I ended up putting some money on France to win with an 8 point handicap, so it worked out quite nicely for me.
