I wasn’t expecting a try fest.
Loved that lineout move, reminded me of my time as a hooker.
Except I wasn’t that quick off the mark. And I’d probably missed the right jumper.
Didnt know you were a Welsh international hooker, Sandy.
There are some similarities

The way this world cup is going, it will remain yellow. Now if Dixon was reffing it would be no foul play carry on.
Enough mitigation apparently. Not sure I agree with that and the way the game is going it will be tag rugby or nothing in a decade

except when the ball bounces off a SA arm - then the ball goes away from them, but not the decision.
Sorry - beer and bias are obviously kicking in.

If I were a pro ref, I might be tempted to yellow card the next player to shout at me about some knock on or penalty. I’m sure I got marched back ten meters numerous times for similar before I learnt to shut up. It’s a trend that’s turning rugby into soccer.

Now they call each by their first names as well. The relationship has changed and I don't think for the better.

Totally agree. I don’t mind refs telling players to get onside rather than continually blowing the whistle. But it’s all a bit too chummy

Agreed.
South Africa have learnt the lesson from their Ireland loss about having a reliable kicker

To be fair, the ref was just letting everything go it seemed.
If the bok hooker is injured....
