Add in another lost LO immediately followed by a pen for a high tackle

A truly awful, awful performance
Arg best sack out their 2 as well. Awful showing

That’s one of the worst individual performances I’ve seen at international level. He looks badly out of his depth, and frankly, I don’t think it’s a surprise to many on here

As a wise man once said: "sometimes, the bounce of a rugby ball just hates you"

Feel for Dan. Big chance but he's having a mare. Really poor try to concede at the break and we could do with getting in at the breakdown to slow the Argentinian ball.

Doing some good bits. Our scrum is excellent and we've put some very nice attacking phases together. Wings looking good and Willis again in beast mode.

Steward had a very poor few minutes since his try. That grubber in their 22 was poor- just needed to recycle and we probably score on the other side and then fucked up that kick through.
Not really his fault, there, though, just unlucky bounce off the post. But it's the fact he's so heavy footed in general that causes the problem. If he was lighter on his feet, he could adjust easier.

I think we went alright. We did quite a lot fairly well but maybe not as well as last week. It feels like more errors than last week though.

Argentina seem to have upped their game & tempo. Both of their tries had an element of fortune but they seemed to have a slightly better share of the half and probably deserved at least one of them.

Theo Dan is noticeably struggling - poor lineouts, that high tackle, I'm sure he spilled the ball a few times too. Can't have been easy coming in last minute when you're expecting a short shift off the bench at best. Will he get hooked @ HT?

Our tries were well worked - we actually look pretty good with the ball in hand. Not so good when we're scrapping for it on the floor. Feel like we've turned it over a fair few times.

Still a pretty enjoyable game so far.

If Dan misses this line out, get him off

Enjoyable game to watch but quite sloppy. Steward not having a great game. Feel there are a lot of points we’ve left on the pitch here

Thankfully, Argentina didn't contest, as it wasn't exactly straight

Yeah, I feel like we did well. There was an element of fortune in both Argentina's tries. And we miss Jamie George, who is just fantastic, imo.

I still think Spencer is awful.

But our general play is a step up from the sturgid borefest we've been served up over the past few years.

Oh, I'm not convinced by the ref, though. That was an obvious knock on, no advantage, no recognition it was a knock on, no discussion as to whether it was deliberate (it was).

Dan not helped by first throw being called to 6, but he had an utter mare. Frankly we’d be well ahead but for a shyte lineout and some shit ball retention including from him. I like our attack generally- having centres who actually run straight with intent helps, and both wings showing up well going forward- less so going back tho. Decent watch, sloppy handling aside and piss poor lineout

Argentina are a good team, and they make it very difficult to play. BUT, the errors. The errors are just too much. We need to cut those out.

Pretty disappointing half from an attacking perspective. Some positives, but how have we only scored 3 points?!

So many errors

Really miss Willis carrying, but he was blowing out of his arse after 55. Breakdown pretty average, but so much time in their 22 with zippo
