It's about closure according to Benn.

Being beaten twice by the same man wasn't enough it terms of confirmation.

At least Collins admits that it's all about the money, money, money.

I seem to remember that when Collins was fighting in his prime didn't he have a heart ' mumer ' or something similar ? Thought it contributed to his retirement . I may be wrong . Has been known .

Well Pacman beaten by Horne on Saturday, he looked a shadow of himself in fairness, the Americans had Pacquiao winning somehow, he lost by a clear 2-3 rounds.

Good wins for Buatsi on debut, Okolie and Benn, Okolie looks like he has the tools to beat the likes of Bellew already (Bellew was commentating and saying how far he thinks Okolie is going to go, made no mention of a possible match up as he knows he'd get tuned).

AJ was also ringside, he also lauded Okolie's power after sparring with him.

Does Pacman need the money perhaps ? lost quite a few fights recently and not the force he was . Be a shame if that was the case .

I saw the fight he had to win the title and he looked good, standard Manny, I think he may have taken Horn a little lightly as he didn't look like his usual self at all.

Tomorrow night sees some decent action form the young prospects, the fight I am looking foward to the most is Josh Taylor v Ohara Davies (on CH5) it's a tough one to call, I would edge towards Josh Taylor but Davies is no mug.

On Boxnation/BT Sport:

Anthony Yarde (fighting for the European LH Strap)
Daniel Dubois (knocking some poor bugger out)

I remember him, looked like a brilliant prospect, there was a massive fight outside the ring v Kaylor if I remember rightly, like you say, sad news.

$100m dollars each...everyone's a winner.
Mayweathers ego has made this match happen, since his retirement the limelight has left him, he has seen all the praise and publicity McGregor has had since his recent wins, and he is jealous, he wants to bring all that attention onto himself, this is his way of doing it.
To even things up they should have made sure they both wear MMA mitts for the fight.

I'll watch the fight on c5 tonight. Also dubois looks like a scary lad I saw his debut a while back.

Enjoyed watching Taylor's work tonight.

O'hara looked a bit of a one trick pony. And should have taken a knee rather than wave his hand to end the fight.

Burns will want no part of Taylor. He wouldn't last 6.

Eubank Jr fights Arthur Abraham on Saturday night, itv are asking for £17 for this shit would you believe, despite Selby being added to the bill there is no way I am getting this in.

The winner will enter the $50 million super six competition and fight Avni Yildrim of Turkey (never seen him fight).

Callum Smith is fighting Erik Skoglund (and has foregone his world title shot at Dirrell as a consequence).
George Groves is fighting Jamie Cox
Jurgen Brahmer fights Rob Brant

I think Callum should win the whole thing so I suppose I can see why he has entered.

Is Smith not fighting for the belt? It was reported at the time he'd still be fighting for the WBC diamond belt. Could have been BS though!

Fuck paying 17 bucks for that fight. Eubank has a chance but will be too small for the super 8 or whatever it is called.

Yeah super 8, not using all my fingers there, Callum will get Groves's WBA belt if he wins of course but no other belts on offer.

So, Eubank is the last one to enter the Super 8 meaning they'll be twoish belts on offer with his IBO on offer also, he's due to meet Groves in the Semi's, after Saturday I would happily put my money on Eubank.

Selby put on an excellent performance against the tricky Barros.

Hard to tell just how good Eubank is . Interesting fact , his trainer , and the old mans , says Junior has much more potential and talent . Just very hard to like ain't they ?

Yeah I'm sure if he could do it again he would just keep going in that fight. I watched it live, my old man said straight after the fight that he quit because he was being humiliated, Leonard was toying with him and the crowd were laughing at him.
As you say Duran was a warrior, and he couldn't take being the object of mockery. I don't think about "no mas" when I think of Duran, I just see him as the great fighter he was.

Agree with all that Luke , like many other boxers you get the impression that his chosen sport kept him out of nick . Pretty volatile outside the ring if you can believe all you read .

Hughie Fury has agreed to fight Haye if he beats Parker. Tyson F seems pissed off about it.

Frampton has failed to make the weight for his WBC title eliminator, surprise surprise, he's the new Ricky Fatton.

See old champ Dave McCauley has kicked the beehive . He's slated Framptons training team over the weight issue , and said some strange things about his opponents injuries which forced the cancellation . Deep cuts and broken teeth !!! Who knows ? :o

Missing weight is inexcusable but the suggestion that Framptons camp or AN Other is behind the injury is a bit far fetched IMO. There is far to much for Frampton to lose by doing that. Even if the fight wasn't an eliminator, he could have won and then fought Selby.
