Do'nt forget - the whole reason the founding fathers left Plymouth was to exercise their right to persecute peoiple for their religious beliefs
in fairness that was only part of the reason, but it wasn't (and isn't) insignificant

As ever it's the correct response from the orange one

Interesting, and it is certainly a serious matter. Not sure what the chances are of success as the Dems will no doubt need the cooperation of the White House.

Hope they fry the cunt [emoji106]

I hope whether they impeach him or not the Dems stop considering what such action will do to their electoral chances, it's either the right thing to do or not, and if it's the right thing it's their duty which no doubt they swore an oath to

As an aside, Melania looks heavily sedated in that interview. Also looking a little off today was Jon Snow, though in Jon's case I'm guessing he rather daftly had a glass or two of wine earlier in the day

Gosh, so this is what he sounds like when he actually stays on script?

The sniffing again. He has got to be doing speed.

Proof that they have canned applause in the UN?

Or was the audience so stunned that an average round of claps seemed like the only thing to do?

I think his main issue during that speech is that he's sulking. His tone and body language were just so "why is this happening to me?" Surely he would've been notified that the Dems were going to launch the inquiry before it was officially announced? I mean the press ran articles that it was going to happen too. He even called Pelosi to try to 'work something out'. The art of the deal indeed.

The sniffing is weird though. Consistent, but weird. There have been many rumours about Trump being addicted to prescription drugs over the years. Surely someone at the WH would be able to get some evidence? Just speculating here, but if Trump has regular appointments with a doctor, either at the WH or Mar-a-Lago, would anyone else need to be present?

It was also interesting to note that some commentators on Fox News were calling it Trump's greatest speech yet.

The mind truly boggles.

If the UN speech wasn't bad enough, try watching his latest press conference.

Jesus christ. The man is all over the place.

Feels weird, but I kinda felt sorry for him for a few seconds...

...then I didn't

I really don't want to get carried away but if he manages to drag Pence down with him that would be absolutely incredible.

Trump is doing a fantastic job of empowering horrible cunts all over the country, but I see him as too incompetent and narcissistic to really qualify as evil. Pence however seems like a genuinely horrendous person down to the core. He could really take this right-wing fanatical Christianity thing to another level.

Just oust the muthafuka already. I mean, come on.

Oh, and Pence looks like he would enjoy a good pegging from a nun in a dark room.

His actual guilt or innocence is completely irrelevant nowadays. His party will stand with him, as will his fans, who will convince themselves through logical gymnastics that he is actually the victim here and what he did is best for America.

He's also deafening in his silence. Has he washed his hands and condemned the anti-Christ?

AS far as the pegging goes, I mean, who wouldn't?

I'm thinking this is the time the political genius that landed Ivanka, Jared, Ben Carson and the gang their current jobs will guide the administration through this crisis.

Loving the new defence that days after putting a hold on military aid and right after the Ukraine raised the subject of military aid/purchases the fact Trump then asked for a favour that would be illegal under US law isn't to be taken as a quid pro quo, and merely concern about others seeking foreign interference.
