Nadal must have had some leaning that way, and I don't know Nadal thinks of it that he was forced to be left-handed, more he played two handed both sides and was told to choose a forehand side and went with the one that felt natural enough in addition to some notion left handed players have an advantage

I know beyond jumping off my left I'll do a lot of everyday tasks left handed, I'll pour left handed all things being equal, I'll tend to carry things left handed. I used to write both right and left handed until by age 4 or so I'd largely given up using the left as the world was setup for right handed people, and it's unlikely I'm unique in a world of 7-8 billion people

Gower is right handed I believe. Interestingly, there is a school of cricket thought that all right handers should bat as left handers do.....

Yeah. "Power" players tend to have their bottom hand take over and end up out of control. By switching around, their dominant hand is controlling instead.

Aha, well that's more encouraging. I thought he was just going off on a tangent while trying to say that EJ actually reads the sheets. There's something about his voice that makes my brain just switch off completely.

It seemed to be more that the coaches don't look at the sheet, the doctor does, and in other regimes, the coaches never asked the doctors, or the doctors never passed on the info.

I’m watching the Premiership Cup highlights from the weekend and it reminded me of something I meant to post on Saturday ...

Brad Shields looked very good !! I know it’s only the Premiership Cup, but he looked like a different player.

Jack Willis also made an excellent cameo.

Shields looked good through the whole game. Some very good carries, and generally very busy. Obviously tempered with the level of the game.

I love Willis.

He’s only allowed to play at 8, even for his club, in case Billy gets injured and he’s forgotten what to do.

We don’t want to end up with a retreating scrum on our line where the ball needs controlling but he’s haring off trying to tackle their fly-half.
