Mikey Garcia fought Broner on Saturday night, it was a one way street, I don't think I've seen Garcia before, he's very good. It seems there may be a super fight between him and Lomanchenko or Jorge Linares, either of which would be well worth viewing.

Always good to see Broner lose. Linares needs to get passed Luke Camb....... nah sorry can't finish that joke.

Wladimir has retired. Very good career and WK can go out with his head held high. Not sure if Ortiz or Pulev will be the mandatory for Joshua's next fight.

Haha, Luke Campbell should stick to reality TV I reckon, it's just as well Linares isn't a big hitter.

Pulev is up next for Joshua I believe, mandatory IBF Challenger or Joshua has to vacate, I can't foresee any hiccups in that one.

Lomanchneko fights Miguel Marriaga on Saturday Night, looking forward to that one, 7/8th round stoppage for Lomanchenko I think.

It turns out he has to defend the WBA belt against Ortiz prior to the IBF defence so he'll be fighting twice more this year, which is nice.

And pretty rare. Late September and mid December?

Crolla v Burns announced for 7th October.

Crolla takes that. But being honest I'd rather have seen Taylor v Burns for the passing of the Scottish lightweight torch.

I'm not sure if Burns has anything left to prove tbh, I think he'd be better advised to hang them up now. Crolla would be a better fight for Taylor imo.

Lomanchenko was imperious on the weekend as usual.

The Crawford Indongo fight looks set to be a cracker, I fancy Crawford to win that one but not easily.

Well Crawford won, and easily, third round stoppage after a brutal body shot, he is refreshingly modest for an American boxer as well.

I'm not sure where Crawford goes now but there are some big fights out there for him.

Was a lovely shot to the body.

Gervonta Davis v Francisco Fonseca was intriguing. Davis started showboating and goading and at times looked disinterested. Commentators reckoned something was going on in Davis' camp that affected the performance...I think failing to make the weight was the only factor.

Fonseca didn't look like he had anything to hurt Davis but he started gaining a little confidence and made a go of it.

The end was a little disappointing with Fonseca seemingly going down from a glancing blow to the back of the head and being pushed down, but I think he was hurt from a previous blow to the head and a heavy body shot. I don't think he wanted to know from that point.

The crowd didn't like it and booed Davis who looked a little shocked at the response.

Meh.

Not sure what Bunce and the beeb were on about that Mayweather was in trouble at round 4/5?

McGregor started off brightly, but he tired so quickly and Mayweather just picked him off after that.

Boxing is the real winner tonight and Conor is the future of boxing apparently

Well both guys made money , had no interest myself , but strange that the 20,000 capacity had only 14,000 + seats sold . PPv no doubt made it the money fight it was .

Can't understand why McGregor has received so many plaudits?

He started lively enough from all accounts, although the stream I was watching was very poor for the first few rounds, so I didn't see it. I'm thinking his good start was more down to Mayweather sizing things up. As soon as Floyd sussed it out, he just walked through him time and time again and picked him off at ease. McGregor's defence was poor and his fitness suspect. For all the running off his mouth did, he couldn't back it up. He certainly wasn't the first to cheapen boxing and he definitely won't be the last, but what a classless prick. c.$70m for being a cunt.

Think Cleverly should call it a day . Hardly in the fight and took a beating .

His attitude to the sport has always been dubious imo .
