Hartley officially retired then. Say what you will but he certainly seemed to pretty central in the turnaround between 16-18.

Just seen this stat too which is pretty impressive.

Though I do find it hilarious for him to say ""My career wasn't perfect, but I wouldn't have had it any other way." Not even the gouging or the biting eh?

On a data set of two runs, Simmonds Snr looks a little slower than pre-injury. Anyone else who has watched Exe more regularly, ie more than the first 40mins of La Rochelle v Exe, agree/disagree?

Playing well though. Hasn’t missed a kick all season apparently!!

Just as I’m not impressed with a 10 who makes a lot of tackles, I’m not impressed by a no8 with a 100% kicking record.

15 minutes in, and Willis has won 2 turnovers, been harshly pinged on a 3rd, and in my mind should have been gifted another. He keeps making a mess of the long box kick rucks too.

Jack Willis is a freak. If he can turnover ball like this at test level he’ll be a game changer for England.

The fact he can basically do the splits let's him be in a more convincing "supporting his own weight" sort of position than many. He's then just got freakish strength to stay in there.

Technically that's dicking about keeping your teammates offside with the ball in one hand begging to get into trouble, and then he gets free to set up a wonder try. Whether the defence work harder if the match is in doubt is also open to question.

Brilliant from Ibitoye. Take him to Japan, Eddie.

Take jack Willis too. Outstanding again last night.

Yes. The one highlight in an otherwise highly embarrassing night for Quins. Don’t get me wrong, I expected to lose, but conceding 7 tries (including a couple of gift wrapped ones) is very worrying. 1 win in 5 this season so far ...

It's still a demonstration of raw skill that few others could do.

Blimey.

If he keeps doing it and keeps getting away with it I'm fine with it. BOD used to drift lazily across the pitch taking space from others, but the boy produced results so crack on

Great! So Leicester will get to keep their England players during the 6N if we're fighting against relegation too? Thanks Uncle Eddie!

Any player can decline to play for England. If the Saracens players want to play for their club and forfeit their international careers that is a matter for them.
I'm fairly sure the EPS agreement with the clubs mean that no club can stop one of their players playing for England if selected.
Think World Rugby might take a view about it too.

Anyone can make themselves unavailable at any time they choose.
By y would essentially be retirement from international rugby

Leicester could have gone down last season but i dont recall any suggestion that their England players give the 6N's a miss.

I would be astonished if any Saracens player decided to end their international career and not make themselves available for the 6N's.
