Aye "offered" as in asking our national coach Townsend to be ROBERT HOWLEY's assistant? That was a clear insult in an of itself. It is as if Gatland has gone out of his way to destroy the Lions concept as far as Scottish rugby is concerned.

I don't really get the point of this?! If you had 41 Scottish players making up the squad, you'd have in all probability 100% of them losing to Welsh and Irish teams certainly and high percentage to English teams.

Im benchmarking that if the players that were picked were the best available then they 66% would not have lost to scottish teams at international or european level , especially considering that if these were the best in britain then why is their win rate against players not good enough to make it so poor

you can manipulate the stats anyway you want (i did) the fact remains that at either international or European level most of those guys have lost to players deemed not good enough,

i could come up with lots of stats to say the welsh deserved their high numbers but its pretty much bullsh!t, its an interesting stat that demonstrates the fact the coaches picked who they wanted to go with ,

The welsh media have already turned round and said that the only way to beat the blacks is to bash them into submission, whatever you do dont tell the irish

By the same token you could use the Glasgow v Leicester (both legs) or even Edinburgh v Quins (both legs).

Dan Biggar as a lions ten? I know i picked Gatland to do it but now that i see it i just cant get my head around it.

Really dissapointing for Gray jr. Thought he deserved to tour, especially in such a massive squad.

Actually I'm now worried that Hogg is going to be asked to chase high balls all day long and come back a different player. Seymour would be perfect for that but will only get 40 minutes for the dirt trackers somewhere and never touch the ball.

Not many Scots on last few tours and all supporters I know who have been from up here loved every minute of the tour.

I agree with D. The tours are great. The Welsh traditionally make up the bulk of the traveling support, they are deadly. It's all too easy to confuse the Internet with what people are like. Some fat cunt, 40 year old man child posting with a "internet persona" isn't a fair reflection of anything.
