Good job. Leading from the middle.
A head on collision between medical terminology and a man pathologically unable to admit to anything negative about himself. Neither emerged from the car crash unscathed.
I hadn't actually realised that until you pointed it out. I had assumed it was the usual Trump word salad, but you are absolutely right - he's struggling to force out a statement that he's negative, like it's a kidney stone.

I don’t think I’d actually seen this woman speak before. I’d say she’s a fucking moron but she obviously knows what she’s doing.

It must be a very strange job having to go out there and try your hardest to convince 50% of the world you’re doing what you can for your country, and the other 50% that you are a complete dribbling retard that honestly can’t grasp the difference between being inside and being outside.

What a thundercunt. Committed to spinning the Orange One's nonsense no matter how illogical. Number one priority for all arms of government, apparently. She looks ridiculous.

She knows exactly what she's doing, which makes it so much worse

It does bear repeating if your eyesight is dodgy you need to risk the life of a young child whilst you ascertain what's going on, the test in't going to work unless you put at risk someone 6 or younger, ideally 4 and under for certainty. That's science for you.

In other news Trump is threatening to sue CNN for a poll which shows him behind. If that wasn't funny enough the letter in response from their general counsel Mr Vigilante is perfect.

Fair play to CNN that's nice work. Though Trump might as well be spending some money, his campaign has raised enough of it.

Tulsa Craigslist has taken down an add, which could have been placed by anyone, just anyone, reading:

Actors needed June 20 (Tulsa)

Excited and enthusiastic MINORITY Actors and Actresses needed to hold signs at event in Tulsa. Send headshot/resume for early consideration.

*This may be applied towards community service if necessary (in lieu of payment)

Not massively surprising if it’s legit. People have already been rumbled getting paid to pose as Black Panthers with guns.

Seems pretty much impossible to verify people’s intentions in these situations.

It's been a long standing joke that many of the blackfaces seen at Trump events, many of those seen not that there are many, have long been paid to turn up. Perhaps even the Trump campaign has reasoned it's a tad unadvisable at this time

I didn’t actually realise I’d clicked on the Trump thread and not the America one so assumed this was to do with the protests, but yeah I guess the same still applies.

There was a good one a while back with a young black journalist who just came to observe and ended up getting plonked in front of the camera.

In other Trump news, and in fairness he might be doing nothing wrong in this instance, we are really now getting some transparency problems around the CARES bill which was passed by Congress to assist with the recovery from the pandemic. It's a $2.2 trillion package, and around $669 billion of that was earmarked for the Paycheck Protection Program (spelling of program theirs not mine) aka PPP which was being overseen by Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin with oversight from Glenn Fine who was elected IG for the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee by the other Inspector Generals. Ahead of time Trump and Mnuchin stated transparency would be important.

Glenn Fine was fired by Trump because it seems Fine actually wanted some oversight and thought if Trump was trying to hide stuff he should report it to the relevant Congressional Committee without asking Trump for approval to report Trump. Trump says firing him was merely clearing up a Democratic appointee.

Which leaves the new IG appointed by Trump with a clear understanding of his role, and Congress trying to review the actions taken by Mnuchin

Mnuchin is refusing to turn over detail to Congress in such matters as who the PPP payments have been going to because to more or less quote Mnuchin that information is proprietary and perhaps at the sole owner/small business level confidential. So there's maybe ballpark $500 billion so far having been dished out by Trump and Mnuchin that when asked about they're telling everyone else not to worry their pretty little heads about it.

This is odd because the money being handed out belongs to US citizens so they're being told they cannot have access to their own proprietary information (this really isn't the same same as the recipe for Coca-Cola) and more when companies applied to the administration for monies under the PPP they signed they understood money they received might be disclosed to the public, i.e. it specifically wasn't confidential.

I say at the top Trump might be doing nothing wrong as they might be assigning all this money to small business as was intended and not serving their own interests whether directly or indirectly. Mnuchin should be careful though, because on the off chance Trump doesn't win in November and anyone does take a look into where something close to $700 billion has gone he could have some exposure

I like the part where if it's Trump, and it probably is, he says we'll not pay you in lieu of it being community service. I guess technically the Trump campaign is probably a non-profit organisation and thus might qualify for community service. But the idea in the round of paying black faces to turn up and then not actually paying them speaks so well to what Trump has to offer and his query as to what black voters had to lose

What an odd creature that Mnuchin is. He has the perplexed expression of someone that is simultaneously defecating and climaxing. Or someone that found a used condom in his jacket pocket, realises its not his jacket, and is strangely aroused.

I can honestly state that I have never experienced either of those situations. Please share your expert knowledge.
