Don't leap back into the first employment you can find, just to pay the rent, take some time and rely on your family's wealth and your trust fund to really reassess your life and decide what career is best for you! Maybe look at using some of your spare cash to start a new business venture! Get creative! Find something New!

or the flip side, you used to earn $70k with a decent package of benefits including health, but now you can only find work at min. wage in an Amazon dream fulfilment centre, but don't worry, you're trying something new, and then find another couple of other something news because on your salary it's a choice between rent/mortgage and food

and I guess if we think about it homelessness is only something new

actually the scale of those about to be homeless is breathtaking, and the federal government should have something to say about jobs to try and prevent that being a problem for as many as possible and then something to say about actually getting people back on their feet where it does result. just not this sort of trite crap that is utterly divorced from reality and empathy

it's possible the Trump campaign watched the Prince Andrew interview with the BBC and looked at a fat old man say he wouldn't have had sex with a young girl because he doesn't sweat and once went to a pizza outlet in Woking and thought that's the man to put in charge of our messaging, just tone deaf

Has everyone seen his most recent Fox News interview with Chris Wallace?

Here's a snippet. It's taken from Trevor Noah's show, but gets the gist of the deluded one across well enough.

Is this the one where he couldn't remember any of the details about the hard questions he did so well on in his cognitive test? Bar it was hilarious I've not seen it

You should look at the interview he gave to the Tucker Carlson show as well. The interviewer is completely deferential, so TGPT is free wheeling at times.

He got extra marks for getting them in the right order.

Congratulations Mr President for passing a test that confirms you don't have advanced dementia. We all feel so much better now knowing that your ineptitude isn't due to a medical condition.

Do we know he passed the test, or even that he sat a test? He does from time to time accidentally not tell the truth

We only have his word, however he describes a standard Cognitive test: I doubt he would know about it without sitting the test.

White suburban women, fear not my tremendous housewives, Donnel will fight to keep the racial homogeneity of your suburb intact by supporting segregationist housing policy. Welcome back to pre civil rights 1950. The only policy directive these dinosaurs have is , it’s all right if it’s all white.

Is there any new data about how it effects black people more than white people? Or was it simply the case that more black people are working in menial labour and people in menial labour are more at risk?

More to do with inequality in living conditions, employment and access to health care (which is tethered to employment in this Bannana Republic). Latinos are likewise getting hammered.

You know what actually pisses me off? The misuse of the word Conservative to describe these cockwombles. YOU'RE NOT CONSERVATIVE! You're illiberal. They're not synonyms.

Roughly double the risk, adjusting for living conditions.
