Huw Jones scores to put WP in the lead with 20 to go.

Just watching that, he's got a couple today, and put the other one away just before half time. He's having a good game.

And importantly appears to have emerged unscathed. Hopefully he doesn’t do a Bradbury in Durban tonight!

Edit - Oor Huw picks up MOTM too!

Visser playing 15 for Quins today. LOL. I wish I could see it.

And me. On that note, James Lang started at 12. JPS has helpfully identified him as a Scot.

Viewer unlucky not to score, positioning was crap, missed a last man tackle he should have made but was ok.

Tidy enough player. Did well today. It wasn't the hardest kick ever but it showed some nerve to slot the winner at 84 minutes.

First time I remember seeing Vellacott but he's had a very impressive 5 minutes since coming off the bench.

Did Maitland come through that game unscathed?

Visser and Lang appeared to have just conjured a great try between them but a foot in touch rules it out. I don't know where Lang actually stands on nationality (?) but he's worth far more at 12 right now than triple Lion Roberts. Not that that means much anymore.

Have a hunch (only) that he`s S.Q`d, looked like a very talented player at Melrose Sevens (which is a major test, no hiding place) though it seems that his (and others) employment/selection prospects are improved by not committing to Scotland.

IIRC he is SQ.

Healthy SQ contingent turning out for Newcastle yesterday.

Harris, Welsh, Green (so I am told), Graham (George's son) with Lawson and Tait on the bench.

That's without Hogg and Davidson making the squad as well!

Eadie benched for Saints.

Denton and Strauss went head to head for Wuss and Sale respectively at 8. McGuigan retained his place - I thought Yarde was over there now? But got two yellos cards.

For Quins Visser starts with lang on the bench.

Sarries - Maitland on the wing.

Low parchuted out of the Ex 23 entirely. Unsurprising given he is now 4th choice.

Zach Mercer starts at 7 for Bath.

Steele and Cowan start for LI with Tonks and Reid on the bench.

Scott and Vellacott bench for Glos.

Mercer barely retaining his SQ status now given he was an "apprentice" in the England team.

Aye. Some pretty tenuous ones there, but at least some options amongst it.

Just happened to see the Newcastle highlights and Harris created and saved a try with two great interventions. I hadn't really paid much attention to him before this Autumn but we could certainly still do with some more wide options.

Nice to see Lawson score the winner too, not that he'd be remotely in the reckoning for Scotland.

Is it unfair that I still worry McGuigan is just Webster mk2? I only saw highlights of the Aus game. He can certainly finish and his pace will scare some teams though.

Is he SQ at all these days?
I could easily be wrong, but isn't he kiwi dad, English mum, born in Leeds, went to school in Scotland... So Scottish only through residency, which he lost by moving south?
