Well in Seymour.
Ha, ah, probably too many backs in that commentary box.

Good finish for Seymour alright, especially considering he went into that dive around the 22. Cunning as fuck.

Hoggys player mic is mildly amusing. I'm assuming that 10 second burst was about all they could have used.

If that was scored that was very good from Hogg to turn it back onto the weeg side.

Edit: they did. Fair fucks.

Yeah. I thought a younger Hogg would have got try line fever

Aye, I would have. I'd have tried to burrow into that, then would have promptly given away a penas for a double movement and possibly holding on. Then I'd blame the forwards.

... the fat cunts.

Am I right in reading the Westies didn't get much of a pre-season? This does kind of look like a first hit out for them. Taking nothing away with how the weeg are playing mind you, they've been excellent.

Aye. Think they said a couple of French teams jacked on them.

Connacht look rusty, but Glasgow are well worth the win and are laying down an early marker for the season

I get the feeling if it wasn't late, fuck all would have been said about that. It's a contact sport that requires players to tackle other players by the legs, people are going to hit each other on knee joints about 50 times a game.

Did I miss something, or is the point that it was late, so by implication he may have been trying to injure that cat?
Either way it's time for Scotland and Glasgow to get over their love affair with this bloke. He's the back row version of Jammy and a complete liability.

Superb weeg performance. Still early days but they've quite a few big guns on the sidelines too. They'll be hard to stop this season if they keep this up.

BTW is there no longer a 'live' option on the new Guinness pro 12 site? Always found that a handy way to keep track of scorers, subs, cards, etc.

Aye, I went looking for that last night, seems they have ditched it. Their new site is gash.

EDIT: actually they still have it, you can get to it from the drop down at the top, might not work on a mobile though.

Connacht were shite but the weegies looked clinical. Now on to the real match.

Yeah I found it, it wasn't a straightforward user journey to get there though...

Some high quality play at times there for first competitive game of the season. Given a fair few of the Test players had no warmup action - great to see Hogg and Seymour up to speed and the systems working well.

Pyrgos makes a big difference to the machine - hope he keeps fit this year.

Most Irish internationals are still on enforced rest, so there's a fair few missing. Your boys must be favourites, particularly after that excellent win at the Sportsground.
