Horne really is rather good isn't he? I thought that was an Eng try early on - Bryce did well to pick up and keep the game going. If they'd stopped I would imagine the ref would have gone to check?

You'd assume so although it looked like Horne may have has a hand on it too.

Just as well he scored that...

Neither decision would have allowed Bryce to play on though - not 100% on the 7s rules. I thought it was smart either way. I know they don't typically show replays due to the speed of the game but would be interesting to see it again.

I love how MacRae was screaming for Wight to kick the ball dead in the corner... only for Wight to score from his quick tap....

I know he's 32 now so the time has passed now but whenever I saw Robertson in an Edinburgh shirt I always thought he'd be a future Scotland international - just at the 15 version of the game...

Has Horne played every minute?

I think we've got another try in us here. Great performance so far. Norton's pace is the only thing keeping England in this.

Typically Scottish ending but at least we've got the win!

I'm not sure Robertson's body is up to pro level 15 aside. He only dropped back down due to injuries.

I'm talking about way back when. I wouldn't expect him to make the switch back now.

You weren`t alone in thinking that..
I think his career was blighted by injury, which is, sadly, not unusual for a talented Scottish player.

Was punching the air in Sainsbury's when the score came through! Just got home and watched it back. Funny first try/ no try incident.

Anyway, Saffers in the final again. We've won every final we've played against them - bring it on!

Not a good start. Stupid pen on kick off to give SA some easy possession. Yet to get our hands on the ball.

Utterly awful try to give away... Playing far too high risk with the clock red & 5 points behind. Result? now 10 points behind.

France, Argentina and Russia should be a manageable group in London.

I hope McCrae gets Farndale a chance at Edinburgh next year.

I am hoping Horne edges ahead of Pyrgos and starts to get regular game time. He is 22 now so hopefully he earns/is given the opportunities next year.

Shame there wasn't a Caley side. Would be playing some promising players in it getting regular game time. 2 Fagersons (ZJRF plays enough already tbf), 2 Hornes (ok Peter isn't young), McCallum, Wynne, Smith, Flockhart etc.
