Blatant from Tipuric. Glad Barnes penalised it, i've seen a lot of refs let those go at rucks where they're a little less blatant but still illegal.

Next score will be key...and if there's one after that, it could be key too.

Wales ain't going to lose this. It's like they have 2 players on the pitch for every Ireland player.

Wales have done us a huge favour. Ireland will surely go hell for leather next week.

This is in our hands...

Well played Wales. Didn't think they had it in them but someone has said the right words. Howley and Gatland now in place until after 2019?!

Good win for us, I'm very surprised and very very happy. The win is almost as surprising as us scoring 3 (4?) tries

What a game really. That period of time when Ireland were camped in the 22 again and again and everything was just going wrong for Wales... I couldn't see a way out of it for Wales. To be chasing a BP try at the death is some turnaround.

I did and said as much prior to the 6Ns. They had much to prove and showed glimpses against us, but tonight was a whole 80 minute performance. They forced Ireland into so many mistakes.

Excellent performance.

Howley is a genius :)

Well pleased with that. We showed some creativity and plenty of grit in defence. A huge improvement on last time. The pressure we put in the Irish with our defence was incredible .

Let's not pretend that al is now well, but at least we have credibility back and it was great to see our supporting players trying to keep a move alive rather than just wait for the ruck.

Well, as we said before the game there was a sense of lose/lose as a win will paper over SO many cracks.

But phuqme, what a shift that was. I can't find it in me to begrudge the players anything tonight. We haven't become a good team overnight :-) but I don't think we could have asked for more than we got this evening.

What price could you have got on 3 tries to 0 this morning?

Great test match! Well played Wales. Sheer bloodymindedness and top defence saw you through.
Now can you reproduce that in Paris?

Jamie Roberts as an impact sub too!!

Was chatting to a friend on the school run earlier and both of us were stumped at why Roberts is considered an impact player, but he pretty much did everything you would expect an impact player to do.

In fairness I think most of our backs would have fancied themselves to finish from that position. But, also in fairness, he didn't phuqitup.

Much better performance.

Our bench actually made an impact (although IMO G Davies made a poor impact)

Still work to do but will always take a Wales win.

Still not comfortable with Biggar at 10 and 1/2p at 15.

Still think JD2 can improve.

Still think we need a ball carrier in the pack that consistently breaks the line.

That said, cant really fault the effort.

Wales confounded the critics. I thought there was no way our eight would hold their own in the scrums or lines out but they did even stealing a couple of Irish throws. Murray and Sexton didn't dominate the game as predicted and this was a pretty good team performance from Wales. It still doesn't mean I want Howley to stay on board.
