Cheers for that. Sounds like a nasty bug too. I don't fancy locking a scrum when the hooker has the shits.
I'd add to my post that a major part of that Welsh team was made up of people who aren't even first choice for their club team. Just for a bit of perspective....
Settle down man. Its not as if you playing Japan.
I expected us to lose, so I'm happy a scratch team sneaked a win.
I was just putting a bit of perspective on the 78-0 ass raping handed out by NZ, compared to the narrow win by Wales.

Jamie Roberts was the only person in XV that would get near a full strength Wales. We also had Scott Baldwin and Scott Williams on the bench. Apart from that, that was probably the weakest Welsh team I've ever seen, and that includes teams which featured Haldane Luscombe and Craig Quinnell (not at the same time though). Also, I think it was pissing down.
Only 3 out of the 11 Telegraph panel think the ABs will win in their prediction column. Obviously a bit of hope in there, and a couple admit as much, but it does go to show where the "momentum" is.
I tried to watch some of that Wales game, it was frankly depressing. Not only pissing down but the pitch cut up badly, incredibly soft underfoot and players were struggling just to stay on their feet. And the stadium looked like it was lifted out of a Stalinist Soviet outpost. The crowd were about 50m back from the pitch.

Probably looking at NZ's shoddy record at Eden Park

Does it ballix! When did the ABs last lose at EP? How many times have Samoa lost that heavily?

Seriously excited about this now. My eldest has come home from school saying that he's not feeling very well and doesn't really fancy his golf lesson tomorrow morning. Is it bad that I hope he doesn't recover until late morning?

Don't need to tell me. I'm just commenting on what has been an obvious shift in press angle, despair has turned to optimism and in some cases confidence. Do you disagree? I'm sure you're pretty read up on media here.

It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
