I was 99% sure you were quoting satire, but if there's anything I know about the world nowadays, it's that the Onion has a hard time coming up with more risible things than real life is providing. So I googled, just to be on the safe side, and now I am sad with everything.

If we're replaying matches where bad reffing has demonstrably affected the outcome, we'll pretty much have to have a do-over of every one of last week's games.
