What are the ‘Hildas’?
I’m a big fan of Wilson. As Pie Man and Banquo have said he’s been a real asset since getting a run in the side.
As I said earlier in the thread, I don’t expect or want there to any non injury related changes to our side, but I’m curious to see what Brunel will do.
France are clearly hurting after Friday’s defeat and I think we should be on high alert. However, it’s difficult to know whether Brunel sticks with the same/similar side to round 1 or whether he brings back the likes of Bastareaud.

Richard Hill's nickname was Hilda.

No speculation on the French team?
If I were Brunel I’d definitely be reconsidering my side after Friday’s game. The ginger guy Lambey was much better than whoever he replaced (clearly they were anonymous) and I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Ntamack dropped for Bastareaud.

Teague was a tough nut but had a limited game compared to Hill.

I've heard it mention, numerous times, that Dallaglio is our best ever 6.
I would have Hill every day of the week

Dallaglio was a better 6 than an 8, but Hill was a superb 7.
And 6.
(and who said Dayglo was our best ever 6?)

Hill was intelligent enough to be a back!

I believe the answer to your question is probably Dallaglio himself.
Hill also did a good spot as no 8 at one point to allow Moody and Back on the flanks. He was truly superb.

France will be without fat prop Atonio (no great loss in my opinion) and classy centre Wesley Fofana. I hope Brunel resists the temptation to bring in Bastareaud and keeps faith with Ntamack and calls on Racing’s Henri Chavancy. Ginger Lambert more than deserves his chance in the starting XV replacing fat Saffa Willemse!

Fofana is a much bigger loss than Antonio. TBH, I would have preferred the latter to be playing as I really don’t rate him.

Is Fofana still good?
He seemed to appear and be incredible a good few years back, then was in and out of the side for a long time and had lots of injuries I think.
