I see it doesn’t matter being ahead of the kicker. That’s only three in a row where the winger is ahead. Now can England actually make touch from a penalty!

Poor execution from England after some excellent build up.
Reminder: Sam Riley played second fiddle to Barbeary in the same school year. That’s two damn good hookers coming through.

Poor end to the half, credit Ireland, but then proper solid defence. Whole front row is having a stormer. Brantingham especially. Wait until you see him and Fin Baxter in the same front row. At U18s they were SO good!

We should have scored before h/t. Forwards getting on top. Our carrying is first class and the scrum and maul are looking strong. Neither set of backs having much time and space to play in.

Brantingham! Talk about size all you like but that out the back door pass is bloody lovely. Excellent scramble and line defence from Ireland, but we managed to get over.
