Coping with bullshit YCs is an important skill to learn, these guys might as well learn it now.
This game reminds me of watching Wales in the 90's. You think "we're doing ok here" and are still 15 points down.

He needs to be hugely grateful Shaun Edwards is no longer our defence coach

Consoling myself that this isn’t our strongest team

But the lineout is working! :D
They're not contesting it, are they?

For a team with 5½ caps against most of the World Champions, I honestly think it's going okay. Get a try or two against the tide in the 2nd half, no-one get killed, and I think the coaches will be fairly happy.

Indeed - but back then you'd feel like that with our 1st XV. This is barely our 2nd.

A Rees-Zammit hat-trick and we're right back in it!

Bloody hell a Wales scrum penalty! Do we get any points for that?

Hopefully that is just first scrum nerves; we don’t need too many more of those

Well that sums up the day. We look like doing something good, they score a try.

This really is vintage 1990's Wales. For every decent effort there's a soft try given up.

There's moments, certainly something to build on IMO.

That’s getting embarrassing. We’re trying too hard and they can just pick us off

We look like a team that hasn't played together, largely because we are. We should have been playing these games a year ago.

Not sure I'd risk getting Rees-Z injured in a pointless cause.

Williams isn't international class. He's good when you point him in one direction, but he does nothing else.

And there's a case in point. SA not really having to work for a big score.

This isn’t easy watching but this is an experimental team.
