Gilpin is a sad little cunt. What a honker of a world cup he's overseen.
It would help if the victims of the other cancelled fixtures had backbones. But given a few teams benefited from it why would they complain?Chunks Baws wrote:The fucking cretins are really going out of their way to paint it as big bad Scotland didn't care about lost lives.
that was the SRU counter offer. Refused out of hand.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Agree on the donation. Not on the apology. Donation & both expressing regret over the situation would have been a fair compromise.
He's trolling but he's not wrong.Mikey Brown wrote:For some reason there’s an article with Eddie Jones talking about Scotland's World Cup campaign.

Nothing particularly shocking in there, I’m more just curious why it exists at all.
Lots of English and French after tickets I suspect.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Lots of demand for 6N tickets despite the shite performances. Logged on at 9.02AM - 2 mins past the opening time for SSC France Tickets. 1900 people in the queue in front of me.
I got 4 gold tickets right on the halfway line near the top of the east stand for the France game. There was a lot of availability in the cheaper seats at around 10.30 so I do wonder if it will go to public sale (can't imagine many french or english would be in the Scotland supporters club)Big D wrote:Lots of English and French after tickets I suspect.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Lots of demand for 6N tickets despite the shite performances. Would gladly trade them for a couple of Calcutta cup tickets if anyone has any going...
historically loads of away fans filled up Murrayfield. Been much less the case in the last half dozen years for a couple of linked reasons. We are better to watch and despite all the whinging, at Murrayfield are very usually competitive. That in itself makes demand from home fans higher, couple it with season passes and the uptake is very high.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:I got 4 gold tickets right on the halfway line near the top of the east stand for the France game. I suppose the SSC fee & ticket cost is still cheaper than buying from a reseller...septic 9 wrote:historically loads of away fans filled up Murrayfield. Away fans used to flood the SRU site as soon as tickets went on public sale. Now there are few to no public sales for the bigger games, so determined away fans can and will sign up to the Scottish supporters club. I met 2 on saturday who had done just that. No idea how many others there are but given the scarcity of Calcutta Cup tickets and on line tout prices, I'd be surprised if it wasn't a good old number and growing
