Sitting in Starbucks in St Mary Street...

I said to her, "Okay, check which gate we have to use."
Five minutes of frantic scrabbling around in her bag later... "I think I've lost the tickets."
Fortunately, it was only two o'clock, so we retraced our steps. She went to the loo in Starbucks. Not in there, neither were they handed in. I should at this point mention they were in an envelope with my name on it.
So, we walked back to the car, which was in Grangetown - nothing sighted on the way. I said, "Never mind, we'll go home and watch the game there."
High speed along a mostly empty M4, we get back home by 3:15 - the tickets are on the hall table...

Why did you leave the tickets for her to take? Abdicating your responsibilities.

Yeah, I got the game, although I had to park right down on Taff Embankment, near Clarence Road Bridge and hoof it back to the stadium

So then Mr Hamster,

Let's talk about this high speed driving.

You do not have to say anything but it may harm your defence etc etc

Sorry, flashbacks there.

I secured a compromise agreement.

I was wearing a coat with no inside pockets, so I handed the tickets to her to put in her bag. That's when she decided to change coats, so she put the tickets on the table.

Sorry, flashbacks there.
Obviously, it was no faster than 69.9999 mph. Which is all my 2.2 litre Merc engine will do.

Right oh ;)

Sounds a bit like 'he slipped and fell down the stairs'.

Then he probably did, hurtling to the ground floor at about 120mph.

Aye, but in the scheme of things, it's not that important. She was upset about it all, but I told her, "Hey, it's only a game."

I hope you enjoyed your "compromise agreement!"
