It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

It's just a blog by a Rowan- like individual and his mates. There is nothing official about it. I must admit, I was curious too and did some checking.

It's a stock image of a firefighting aircraft dropping a load of water mixed with fire-retardant chemicals. I think it constitutes "Russian humour". See the Random Funny Images thread for similar examples.

1st post was amusing given the tendency of some to absolve russia from all ills, and they get replaced by Saudi on the UN human rights panel.

2nd post was just funny, the garbage that some people will post.

I'm clearly now one of those people, so its a heavy price to pay I will admit.
