Good on him. Agree that the Olympians must be the bookies choice this year, but he's done well to get this far.

Howley would only have him running into forwards so in some ways it might be a blessing.

I fear there is more than a portion of truth there.. but that was a stunning try... there was a gap ... but for most it would have shut before they go to it. A huge talent ... it will be a measure of the Wales coaching staff how well they manage this lads development.

I must also add a note of respect for the Ospreys coach Steve Tandy ...he has impressed me so much this season ... especially his handling of the media and supporters expectation for Giles to date has been top notch.

As my old sports teacher in school always said, there's no substitute for pace. That try was outrageous, there aren't enough players in the Welsh game with enough pace to have scored that. Even less with the vision.

There was a gap because the defenders imagined - quite reasonably - that they'd have time to get in place before that little guy 30m away reached them. Watching the replay it's impossible to believe that the other 29 players aren't drunk. Utterly ridiculous.

Yes .... that is one of the benefits of youth... no baggage from failure, makes it exiting. High risk and reward can be a game changer... but it can go either way, so if it does not work , we as supporters keep that in mind it is high risk

It was good to hear Steve Tandy going into full-on "manage expectation" mode when asked about Giles - citing rough edges and what he needed to work on, etc., while letting the interviewers wax lyrical about his talent without disagreeing.

Sadly it doesn't look like whoever designs the Ospreys website is on quite the same page. It's www.weheartkeelan.com right now...
