Another "one for the purist" so far.
Look at Alex Cuthbert after he misses the tackle on Patchell. Just watch him for the rest of the move. Unbelievable.

Nice way that Lloyd Williams gave the ball to Scarlets to mount an attack and score ...what a $@#/&...where is the shepherds crook....

This is like Wales all over missed chances galore.

Blues played quite well but have no cutting edge, no composure in the opposition 22 & were always likely to gift the Scarlets tries.
Was expecting them to get smashed so its not all bad but like Wales, expected them to find a way to lose even if they managed to take the lead.

To be honest both sides lacked someone to take the ball over the line from the start.
Felise did it a bit for the Blues and certainly Ball did it later for the Scarlets but with 5 players who prefer to play at 7 on the pitch and all flankers playing it was a jackle fest if you added James Davies and it would have been 6.....
The Blues Kristian Dacey was the one who gave them go forward with some great runs... but the Scarlets were sharper at the breakdown and Steff Evans and all the back three looked sharp.
One further comment... Lloyd Williams looked very unsure and was again ponderous ...with foot on the ball. He did contribute to the Blues try but both he and Shingler were bettered by their Scarlet counterparts.
Better side won.... Blues were not bad... just not sharp with the exception of Nipper... he is something with ball in hand attacking ...just love watching him .
But so many mistakes with ball in hand.
