Guess the verdict competition...

Given the fact the Palestinian attacker was reaching for the knife, the only reasonable resolution was to shoot him.

I'm guessing he'll get the Medal of Valor. Anything less would no doubt be an insult to Israel.

What shocked me from the video, besides the needless murder of the prone, injured and unarmed Palestinian was the civilians (I assume they were civilians) being allowed to walk around the crime scene taking photos and videos of the injured/dead man. Also, the lack of reaction from witnesses after the solder shot him. One person was walking away from the Palestinian on the ground and saw the soldier cock his rifle and then covered his ears. Everyone else was just 'meh, so what?'. You would've thought a senior officer would've had a few words at the very least.

I'm in no way condoning the actions of the Palestinians, but it looked like the soldier that was stabbed was likely to make a full recovery.

Convicted of manslaughter. Looked premeditated to me but at least it's a conviction.

That said, it all depends on the sentence.

Yeh, that's something, and more than he would have been likely to receive had he done the same to a black man in America.
