I'm not sure I'm particularly pleased about this, he hasn't really fulfilled his early potential. I assume he's being bought in to cover the loss of Liam and DTH but he is nowhere near the standard of either of them and Johnny McNichol seems to be the most likely next fullback (tho I wouldn't be averse to Steff Evans playing there like he did for the U20s).
Not a progressive signing in any way to my mind.

I agree he has not stepped up...but I often wonder if it is injury ... he has a lot of them...or just lacks the extra .From a physical stand point he certainly has the starting ingredients. For him it will be make or break for his future. TBH I think they see him as a back up since many of the Scarlets backs will be away somewhere this summer and AI ..so if he is seen as that type of player then he may offer something good.
The caveat for me he may obstruct some up and coming player getting his chance if glory.

That's a bit underwhelming. Probably a squad player unless he does finally turn that corner.

Having said that, from the Dragons's POV they're losing one of their better players (IMO).
....athough once Gav shows up the Dragons's fortunes will be transformed, no matter what Prydie does.

I'd much rather have Zane Kirchner than Prydie, lol Gav
