Looks weak, i think Fiji may run that team close for 60 and then we will bring on the bench.

Good to see Geoff given a go. Had a great season for Glasgow.
Pack looks good and with a 6+2 bench we'll be looking to take them on up front.

Im never really a fan of a 6-2 bench. Seems unnecessarily risky. Id have added Scott to that bench. He's managed to give muct people a fair chance without picking a significantly weak team for any of the games though.
I had beem hoping Scott would get at least two starts on tour rather than Taylor getting all three but not complaining too much

6-2 bench is just a requirement of trying to play Hardie. I'm happy GT needs to look at him for himself but we must be close to the situation that it's pointless putting him on the pitch. Has he ever managed 80 minutes?
Good to see Taylor back but I agree on Scott too. It may shock some to read but I quite rate what he does and thought he has offered some valuable surges over the gain line. It will be interesting to see Grigg and Jackson though. I've thought for a while that 15 is actually his best position. It was just never convenient.
Shame not to see more of Jones too but there's so many players we could have looked at.

I'd like to have seen Scott or Jones on the bench.
Still, the team has the quality to get the required win.

Weird team and have to say I'm surprised that Turner has gotten no game time this tour. After that emotional interview with the BBC well... he's not really in a better position now is he? Still on the fringes of the Scotland squad with no meaningful game time. Having said that, we shouldn't be handing out caps if they are not deserved.
Would have liked to see Rae get a cap and he deserves it so much more than Berghan but it's hard to argue his case when Nel and Fagerson are fit.

Not really, and Renwick of the U20s looks reasonable and tied to Edinburgh through the borders academy. Hopefully he starts to put pressure on Turner and Turner pressures Rambo who I think he needs a boot up the arse. Ford (and Cochrane for Embra) wont be around forever so we need these younger guys (and the one at weeg) to start coming through.

Medial cruciate ligament in the warm-up.
All hail the Scottish knee fairy.

The Scottish knee fairy might be a little confused as to which ligament you have in mind..
So will probably cast some of her dust on medial collateral AND anterior cruciate just to be sure..
Let`s hope she`s not in the mood for a trip to the South Pacific..
"Happy talk.."
