Atticus Finch - legend., though didn't like the book much when forced to read it for 'O' level.

Indeed. I could be wrong but it seems to me that To Kill a Mockingbird was the origin of that child POV angle Stephen King does so well.

I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, tho if it were truly fictional then perhaps a masterpiece, the diffculty with one book authors is to distinguish between reality and fiction and the lines are often blurred.

It is very well written, I wonder if she had any assistance from Truman Capote?
