I can't say I blame him, they haven't been too ready with the chequebook of late.

I'm sure I read the other day that Northampton were sniffing around him.

This. Cardiff need a transition but they're just picking up journeymen in a desperate attempt to stop the rot. Patchell might well still be a blue if he hadn't got shafted around to accomodate Anscombe.

Exactly, they got rid of Corey Allen to the Os and replaced him with Jack Roberts who is nowhere as good as Allen imo (tho may be available for more games I suppose), Wilson has been the victim of a lack of investment which is a great shame as it puts a stain on his record where one should not exist.

If the Northampton opportunity proves right then he will have opportunities to show that the root of the Blues issues were not of his making...it will be an interesting season for the Blues.

How many coaches have the blues had since Day Young left? This is a real kick for the region, but one that appears to be down to lack of investment. As pointed out below, it seems that the region is more interested in treading water than moving forward.
