What are the best app.s for satnav - with an offline function? (I'm used to "Here We Go" on Android)

Cheers, 2 days of playing with it, and I just can't overcome some of the issues. I'll give it another couple of days, but am thinking of asking Dad if he kept the receipt.

If it's a smart device you want probably better to go down the android route or iPhone if you have a silly amount of money and a small penis.Which Tyler wrote:Cheers, 2 days of playing with it, and I just can't overcome some of the issues. yeah, going from Android to Windows has just been a pain in the arse so far - and I'm used to Windows on varoius computers; it just really doesn't work on the smaller screen size for me - still designed to be opereated by a mouse, not a finger; and then with what appears to be a bunch of shite as apps if you want to do anything other than work-stuff on it. Getting increasingly frustrated with it - and I'm not exactly a heavy user of these things.

Used to love Windows Phone and Symbian OS before that, but the app, or lack of, situation was the final nail in the coffin.
The cameras on my 808 and 1020 were outstanding and in many ways better than the current smartphone offerings.
I used to use HERE Maps on WP, but I believe they discontinued it on the platform which is a shame as Nokia bought it, put their own stamp on things and made it very good. The Android version is excellent.
I recall there was a ebook app called something like Ebook Reader which was also good.
WP may still be ideal just for office environments and syncing across Windows devices but if you depend on apps, forget about it.
Bloody shame as it would be great to have Android, iOS and WP on equal footing in terms of apps as all the platforms have their appeal.
