Welsh Sqaud sessions for emerging players

I was trying to find out if there were ever any sqaud sessions at all outside the international window particularly for emerging talent ?
Does anyone know how this works under the WRU?

Whilst the age groups and U-20 is a great starting environment we do seem to lose a lot of identified talent that is not taken up in the regions and goes to the premiership and is maybe less visible.

Whilst most talent is identified not everyone develops at the same rate and comes through and is identified at age grade level.

Think that's one of the main drivers behind the reintroduced A side (if they can arrange some fixtures).
We have a lot of quality youngsters from 20-24 who've been relatively successful at U20's level who need greater exposure.
I'd rather an emerging Wales side to play teams like Romania/Georgia/Spain/Germany etc to help identify these players.

15. Rhun Williams
14. Ashton Hewitt
13. Owen Watkin
12. Jack Dixon/Garyn Smith
11. Keelan Giles
10. Jarrod Evans
9. Tomos Williams

1. Corey Domachowski
2. Sam Parry
3. Keiron Assiratti
4. Joe Davies
5. Seb Davies
6. Olly Cracknell
7. Will Boyde
8. Harry Keddie

Always agreed with the A side idea. Bring on some youngsters with a couple of old heads and let’s see if it helps with our depth problem.

Whilst I totally agree with the A side we really do need some structured organisation of players in tandem with it.

Whilst matchplay should be the final measurement getting a clearer idea to the players of where they are and what is the benchmark that they need to meet is critical especially for lads that do not get regular regional starts.

I just do not think there is anything in place and that ball belongs with the WRU.
