Well it's been an an Interesting 2 weeks . .

Blues
One poor performance and one ok performance. .Seb Davies doing a hitch kick was something else.

Scarlet
Two wins the first weekend the result was too close for comfort,but his weekend it was a major change much clearer and clinical.

Dragons
One they won and one they should have won...great match though.

Ospreys
Two wins against an underperforming Saints side.
Either the Saints are worse than I thought or the Ospreys may have finally found something. .probably a bit of both

Northampton are atrocious at the moment.

I was at Liberty Stadium and TBH I don't really care how bad Saints were, those two games have been such a desperately-needed morale boost.

Saints actually bossed possession for long periods today, but had nothing in attack, and couldn't scrummage either. If the Os' ridiculous lineout had reached the dizzy heights of "amateurish" it would probably have been another cricket score. There were still some game management issues, but Os were the better side by several lengths. A fortnight ago I'd doubt they even looked like the better side in training.

This is good, a glimmer of light at last in this dreadful year for the Os. They will seriously miss Webb and Arhip next season, though.

We wIll see how they measure up over the festive season match ups.

Whilst I agree on both counts abd whilst there is a replacement set up for Webb the worrying thing is there is no real internal replacement for Arhip and no hints of signing one as yet.

Arhip is at a very short list of top qaulity tight heads in Wales ...wonder if there are more like him at home

For me I don't disagree with the signs if a glimmer of recovery at the Ospreys. ... the performance of the opposition for the last two weeks has let them get away with errors that other sides have punished them severely for during 2017. We will see what sort of performance they give over the festive break.

I worry about Tom Habberfield; he seems to have gone backwards from last season, where he was starting to look like an international prospect. He's been decidedly average for a while now, and whatever mistakes Webb made, we looked far sharper with his service. At this rate Aled Davies will be slotting straight in to 1st choice next year.

Yep ...maybe it will challenge Habberfield if he thinks he is in with a chance ? ...maybe he will be a bit sharper if the pack continues to provide better service.
