LCD in a nutshell- overthrow, followed by a brilliant turnover.

Nic White.....bit average really.

Good half by Chiefs- tidy up the lineout and a bit more composure clearing their lines, but some nice stuff. Simmonds, Ewers, LCD showing up well in the loose.

Great in the loose, and can't help feeling whoever is calling the lineouts needs to take a bit of pressure off him for the key ones- calling to 6 on your own 22 doesn't seem that bright. Bit of white line fever as well, but he's certainly a better bet than turgid Dylan.

Big 40 mins from both LCD and Simmonds.

I thought Armand and Ewers did the real hard graft.

The boy really needs to sort his throwing, but Chiefs also need a better strategy

Agree.

His work over the ball is first rate, and with ball in hand always makes some yardage in traffic. Think Simmonds put in a great shift whilst (IMHO) Ewers underwhelms as a ball carrier when further than a yard out.

How Armand isn't in the training squad remains a mystery

Ewers carried powerfully a couple of times I thought, including in the build up to his own try. Armand is really a 6 as well, but with Simmonds and LCD so good over the ball, it just about works.

LCD's throwing will hold him back unless he can find a way- but his and his mates scrummaging is excellent too.

Good to see Chiefs adapting l/o....throwing to 2, but then using a forward carrier off the 9's pass

Yep. He got a bit over excited. Like a Jack Russell puppy chasing a tennis ball.
