Beck off...

... to Worcester Warriors. With Scott Williams arriving probably not a huge blow for the Ospreys, but a good servant of the region none the less.
He never stays fit long enough to be selected, quite how he will fair in the more physical Premiership I don't know.Son of Mathonwy wrote:Shame, Wales are just not interested in him and he knows it.
I guess he could have gambled on the post-Gatland management, but it's an understandable decision.
Hope he goes well (and stays fit).
You could say Warburton is never fit long enough to be selected... except that he does get selected (....and rightly so).Numbers wrote:He never stays fit long enough to be selected, quite how he will fair in the more physical Premiership I don't know.Son of Mathonwy wrote:Shame, Wales are just not interested in him and he knows it.

Beck has rarely had more than a handful of games before injury which is unfortunate as I think he has a lot to offer when he if fully fit, unfortunately he hardly ever is, this is quite possibly a matter of timing, I'm sure he would have had a look in in the Autumn had he not been injured.Son of Mathonwy wrote:You could say Warburton is never fit long enough to be selected... except that he does get selected (....and rightly so).Numbers wrote:He never stays fit long enough to be selected, quite how he will fair in the more physical Premiership I don't know.Son of Mathonwy wrote:Shame, Wales are just not interested in him and he knows it.

Beck is a borderline player. It's not a crime that he hasn't been selected recently, but I think he could have been a useful member of the squad (again).
I guess it's only a two year contract, and at the moment no one can shine with the Ospreys. So good luck to him.
