Eli Walker retires

Very sad, if not totally surprising. He was able to do amazing things but his body wasn't strong enough at this level. Best of luck for the future.

Real shame. With that run of injuries, it’s not a surprise but still a shame when a player has to retire early.

He was a player of truly great promise, but collected injuries at the worst times.

It's been obvious for a long time now that it was never going to happen for Eli. With his talent he should be on 50+ Wales caps by now; I could weep for him it's so bloody unfair.

Incredibly frustrating. Huge talent that never got the chance to shine at the highest level due to injury.
