It's odd looking at Sarries and thinking, you know what, you'd look better with Wray starting

In place of who? I like Wray, but Billy any day of the week here. Could play him 6 and move Maro forward. That would be my preference.

Well Rhodes is clearly not a 7 by anyone but Jack Rowell’s definition.
Neither is Wray to be fair, but he’s closer than Rhodes IMO.

Is he? Neither really is, but Rhodes has actually played 7 for Sarries more than Wray.

That can’t be correct.

Rhodes is generally rated very highly by the Sarries cognescenti, not far behind Barritt. I checked the starting lineup in 2018 and Burger has been at 7 most of the time, although I recall that Rhodes was injured for quite a period of time. 6,7,8 change around quite a lot between Billy V, Wray, Burger, Rhodes, Isiekwe and Earl.
Lozowski at 13 is generally considered "the man of the moment" right now.
That is a fairly mean looking squad for today, close to the best that Sarries can put out. I am expecting a solid win, but I also expected the same from Exeter.

How do Saracens so consistently get away with flying into rucks off their feet?

Mako subbed off with an injury (looked to be limping off and a heavily strapped foot)…
Billy caught under a player and looked to hyperextend his (heavily strapped) knee - I wouldn't be surprised to see him take some time out

They get away with far too much. Refs perhaps a bit intimidated by the number of capped players.

This is driving me insane. I genuinely think they've infringed at more rucks than not.

And that last penalty was ridiculous. Wigglesworth or Rhodes should have been done instead.

Price wedging Kruis in to the ruck whilst slapping his back demanding he rolls away.

Sorry, but Itoje is just a category 5 wanker.

Itoje is such an unlikable prick, totally classless

Yep. I know I'm meant to like the guy as an England support but they really make it difficult. I just can't believe how much the ref resents having to make a single call against Saracens.

I was amazed in that last period of play that they were actually penalised for being offside, as they normally have carte blanche with the offside line too.

Personally I love that Itoje stuff, but then I was a flanker and I enjoyed being a niggly, horrible bastard. Especially if you’re playing the Scots.

Saracens have a hell of a lot of players like this - good English players, whose behaviour makes them impossible to like. To the point where I am hoping to see a foreign club beat an English club in a European competition

I can definitely see that side of it. He riles people up, he's very good at it, but you'd think you might be able to separate the very effective in-your-face stuff from the moments where he's just being a pure tosser.

If one of my minis players did that faux celebration at an oppo disallowed try I’d replace him immediately with a telling off.

I thought it was quite funny honestly.

It is not a particularly mature approach to the game, for sure.
