Tough news but not to worry, the versatile Ken Owens can take his place!

Well yes, that does raise a smile. However Owens cannot provide the technical skills Faletau provides (otherwise known as clearing up the mess at the back of our scrum). Moriarty gives a different more brutal approach and Navidi is pretty good technically, but Faletau has turned bad possession into good so many times that we are a much lesser team without him.

Another broken arm?? Is it the same one?

Nightmare - although at least it's not a joint injury, could be worse.

Exactly, all articles seem to have failed to make a note of this from the ones I've read.

Agreed, it is frustrating. The whole business is confusing as I thought no problem was apparent during the game.

Bollocks. That would explain his omission from the six nations squad.

Apparently it was going to be a 40 player squad but was reduced to 39 at the last moment. (Odd, as I thought squad numbers were limited by 6N rules?).

RWC squads are limited, but I don’t think 6N ones are.

He only positive is that it gives someone else a run in a position where we know we have a class operator. But in a 6N where we want to do well leading into a REC, losing a world class player is really disappointing.

It's supposed to be a small crack around one of the screws holding the plate in. May not even have happened during the match, and may not have caused anything beyond a mild ache in and of itself (probably didn't, given the early comments about him coming through unscathed)
