Diamond sure loves playing those James boys out of position. I thought O'Connor was the ultimate utility player, or has he finally settled on 13 after years of flipping between 10, 12, 15, wing?

McGinty's out injured, so SJames has to move to 10. You're right in that it would seem to make more sense to have O'Connor at 15 and James in at centre, but maybe he just doesn't want to screw around with his established centre partnership?

Willis returning is very good news. There's enough of the season left to make a real case for WC squad.

Absolutely cracking news for Wasps. He needs eased back in and careful management so we don't expect too much too soon after an injury like that.

Great news! TBH, I hope he concentrates on easing his way back to full fitness and form first. I have no doubt that he’s a future test player, but I don’t want him to be another Tom Rees.

He's been in full training for a few weeks apparently, all with the idea to bringing him back in slowly and confidently.

Alo on the bench for Wasps. When did that transfer happen? I thought he was en France.

He plays for Coventry, we've borrowed him for the last couple of weeks.

Sale win. A bit unexpected after last week but some of these mid table games could easily go either way.

Wasps refusing to back up last week's win. Had a chance to win it late on, but bottled it.

Northampton v Sale looks like an outlier.

Willis was back, so the gods have of course realised their error, and broken Sopoaga for 6 weeks. Miller will start at 10, Umaga presumably on the bench.

I watched the full game of this yesterday, and Ben Curry was bloomin quality. It was, dare I say, like watching Tom Curry...
