The team is out for Friday. A few changes. Kinghorn, Ritchie and Hastings all unavailable due to club commitments. The game is on S4C, so hopefully the pubs will have it on down in Cardiff.

Quite a few changes. Didn't realise we had the luxury to do that.

Hopefully even a start - great news from my perspective. Lad's got some real talent in there. Already ahead of Jennings on the Bath pecking order, last year's Eng U20 FH

That is encouraging news. Does he get regular game time in the A league if that is still going?

Good to see Davidson getting a run at 6, is he converting from 2nd to back row then?

Howarth, Nairn, Cummings, perhaps Hutchison and Hastings, Ritchie and Kinghorn who have been called back to Bath and Embra respectively

In addition to those OJ mentioned it is worth remembering the U20s THP is currently unavailable to them.
Despite Fagerson playing for the big team I'd seriously consider him going to the under 20 RWC, or even resting him. As a 20 year old prop it is imperative we manage him well.

Aly Miller has been talked about for an ERP spot before but faces a bit of a logjam of back-rows at the minute.
Is this being streamed anywhere tonight? Was the youtube thing an SRU initative?

Greatly enjoying this. Both teams playing some nice Rugby, and the ref is, er...., letting things flow.

Really impressive line speed in defence coupled with solid tackling. Good first half.

Beaten in the second half there. Fair fucks to the Welsh, they played to their strengths, that and someone clearly had a word with the ref about something illegal we were doing in our line out drives, because the ref had a boner for it from about 60 minutes on.
Still, mightily impressed by our kids this year. Could have, and perhaps, should have won that one.

Hastings starting for Bath against Worcester this afternoon.
Unfortunately hamstrung by playing outside Matawalu for his debut, but hey, that sort of thing happens at this time of year.
Oh, and no FH on the bench, so likely to play the whole 80.

Beat Italy 24-14. Two yellows, Hutchinson for taking the man in the air, Sheldon for being done at the scrum. Pen try conceded from earlier scrum.

Oh, and no FH on the bench, so likely to play the whole 80.
And again on Sunday against Exeter; but with Cook on the bench this time, and an IC alongside him.
Still no FH cover on the bench though, so he's due another 80.

Found by chance footage of the U20s vs Italy from three years ago: it was good to see that a lot of that team have kicked. Hoyland, Bennett, SHC, Ali Price, Ash, Grey, Hughs. Hope the same happens with the current lot.
