Should be fun. Who's covering centre I wonder? Lane, Sam Davies, Jarrod Evans?

Pretty much as expected given injuries and other non availability. I’m not expecting too much out of this but it should be fun.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Jarrod Evans can do, he's the future of the 10 shirt to my mind.

Its a great opportunity for him, especially as Anscombe and Patchell will miss some or all of the Six Nations. I expect Bigger to feature at Fly Half for that tournament, but if Evens has a blinder then it could be Bigger on the bench.

I'm hoping Sam Davies gets a good amount of time too. My Ospreys spectacles still tell me he's better than that Cardiff whippersnapper ;).

He certainly seems to have got his mojo back since he's been with the Dragons.

Wales 19-7 up at half time. Enjoyable game on the whole and Wales are putting more pace in the ball and are running some tidy lines.

Can’t read too much into it as it’s the barbarians and Privac has only just taken over, but nice to see none the less.

Second half a bit of a shambles. Sadly our lack of composure seemed to coincide with Sam Davies coming on but perhaps too many replacements and we lost all shape.

Scored some nice tries. Let too many in but I'm not worried - two, possibly three of their tries shouldn't have been given.

Yeah, I think Nige entered into the spirit of the occasion, which I’m fine with for Barbarians games.

There was the 1st-half one with a superb long pass that might have been an inch forward. Even in a proper game, I want to see those given.

The one where ½p was shoved off the ball, though, was well weird. I didn't have RefMic so I couldn't hear the reasons - was it because he wouldn't have caught it anyway? If so, probably true, but hardly relevant I'd have thought. If that's not an off-the-ball foul tackle then I don't think I've ever seen one!

The reception for Best was nuts. Nice to be able to give him a send-off and all, which he deserves, but you'd have thought we were in Belfast! Hard to imagine AWJ or Warburton getting a reaction THAT enthusiastic... :-)

They reckoned it was a collision, not a push.

I can't say I agree .... but maybe Nigel was being careful not to appear biased!

Most likely this.

I realise I've no idea how the GP league stage works, but does Dragans losing whilst giving up players to an essentially meaningless game mean anything itself, or does it change little in the (expected) final outcome?

None of the regions have been helped by this game. Scarlets has essentially a second team out in Friday.

Evans had an excellent game I thought until he went off then we started to look a bit directionless, Wainwright was immense again and Ken Owens and Wyn Jones showed some touches of class as did Tipuric. A good solid game for McNicholl as well, and I thought 1/2p looked sharp along with Adams.

I was wondering why Halfpenny got selected over, say, Amos but he had a very good game. More like his old self with ball in hand, although for me Liam is still our first choice.

I think Liam is probably the best 15 in world rugby.
