I hate that I'm even starting a thread about this woman, but I'm not sure if people have seen this. Honestly I'm a bit shocked. I'm shocked twice in a sense, because I knew she was a disgusting, racist piece of shit, yet still manage to be surprised by seeing this. Which is odd in its own way.

I must just be incredibly naive.



High profile figures in this country associate with all kinds of disgraceful people but I honestly didn't think anyone short of mentalist neo-Nazis were this brazen about believing things like this. Even Tommy Robinson goes to some effort to cloak his statements in ambiguity, doesn't he? Maybe this isn't the slightest bit surprising at all. Is it just me?

I can't bring myself to pay attention to Brexit anymore, but whilst it's clearly not all about being overtly racist I don't think it can be denied that a lot of the rhetoric surrounding it has been massively empowering to a minority of atrocious people like this.

I think it's more that she's been consumed by her gimmick of being some variation of "Britain's most controversial" which at one point must have been reasonably lucrative. Considering that she's a failed Apprentice contestant, I guess that's all she really had going for her. So anyway, she'd be doing her SCORCHING HOT TAKES on whatever was going on, and she did it long enough that she went from being a bottom-of-the-barrel geek show, only it turns out it was a false bottom and there's an even lower tier below that she's fallen into. She might have been doing it "ironically" at first, but at this point, that is who she is, and honestly, considering how she's fucked her life up, it's just sad more than anything.

Well yeah, at their worst, they can be a bit lazy, and besides helping them achieve and grow as learners, I only need to be wary of potential seizures. It hasn't happened yet, but I'm reasonably certain they're not going to be saying racist stuff while it's all kicking off.

I met Roy Chubby Brown years ago. He told
Me that when he started out he hardly swore in his routines. They he dropped a few words in and the audience loved it. So he developed his routine into a blue comic routine that made him fairly successful.

Hopkins is the same. Say something shocking once , you get a lot of publicity then you need to double down continuously to keep that effect. The rise in populism hasn’t hurt that approach but effectively she has to be offensive to stay a celebrity.

The drugs effectively slow everything down a bit and make her a bit more tired, but also ironically seem to make sleeping a bit harder. She’s brilliant, never complains, but it’s hard for her compared to pre diagnosis.

Yep, she's only had one major seizure, touch wood. She has JME and we hoped she may have grown out of it, but no such luck; she's better off than many epileptics, but even so, its still no fun for her. Good call- we are really overdue a review with a consultant, and medical science develops apace as you know.
