Ospreys taken over

Hate to think how little they needed to pay for this under current circumstances. Better than them going under, though...
I wonder if this will make any difference on the field?

Interesting. Hard to see how they make money from it unless the stadium is part of the deal?

Its an interesting time to take over a pro sports team. Assuming the buyers aren't completely insane, they are hopefully looking to push some funding into the Ospreys and generate some return from a successful brand.

They were starting to turn it round before lockdown and they have unearthed a future Welsh international in Kieran Williams, he could fill Parkes's shoes sooner rather than later imo.

Bad time to buy if you need a short term return. If you are looking long term then it could be the ideal time as Covid will have driven down the value. On paper the Ospreys have a decent squad and it is possible with a little more investment that they could be pushed on.
