There was a recent post in the English board about the Rugby Pass World XV, which got me thinking...the RR hive mind can do better than that.

So let's do our own!

I will run 2 rounds of threads, the first calling for nominations, the second running a poll for each position. The winners will then be combined into a RR World XV (and bench, for sh*ts and giggles).

Starting with shirt #1.

Mine is, obviously, Mako Vunipola.

Go on then, if you want a Scottish one - Rory Sutherland.

If you want the best LHP playing in Scotland it is Schoeman though.

Is there any way you could keep the nominations to one thread Stom? 15 x new threads will make finding the regulars a pain in the ass.

I guess. Made sense on the English board where we like a lot of posts, but will create a new one for all positions.

All round game I would say Mako, but I don't think the bar is particularly high in the position.

Anyone else think that Vunipola may be past the best of his career? I'm not so sure I wouldn't have Marler instead.

Pretty thin position globally though. Best candidates are either in the latter parts of their careers or very young. Hard to think of someone in their prime.
